I have two files, one with the extension (.dat) and the other (.cdb).
what is the difference between both files, how to use them, and from which one I can KNOW THE COMMANDS used to make the model?

      thanks in advance!

      Hi
.dat file – The .dat file in ANSYS contains the instructions and parameters to perform a simulation. it acts as a command file that the solver reads and interprets to carry out the simulation. You can use the.dat file to know the command.

.cdb file- cdb is a coded database file. includes preprocessing, boundary conditions, analysis settings, etc. no results are included in this file. it can be read into APDL and External Modal.
