SubscriberHello,
I want to know that are there any requirements for rotational periodic boundaries in FENSAP-ICE flow solver. The solver shows convergence issues when i apply the periodic boundaries while converting the mesh file into FENSAP-ICE format (as we usually do while importing the mesh file into a FENSAP format), while it works well when i import the .res file generated by CFX (for the same grid and periodic boundaries) into a FENSAP-ICE format.
So, the point is that FESNAP flow solver has convergece issues when i set the periodic boundaries in the FENSAP while importing the mesh file, and the slover shows good convergence while importing the .res file of the same model generated by CFX solver. Here the priodic boundaries are rotational.Â

If i proceed with the converted grid from .res file, the fluent re-meshing step in the multishot does not detect the periodic boundary and converts one of the periodic boundary into symmetry which causes error in the subsequent shots. The screenshots of flow solver (which shows grid periodicity) and fluent re-meshing (ignoring the periodicity) are shown as;
Any help would highly be appreciated. Thanks
