SubscriberHi,
The gap distance between two structure is 3 m. The stiffness fender is 1 x10^7 N/m.
Can suggest where should i key in the data in fender ansys aqwa within this data given?
The damping coefficient influence by stiffness.But the damping coeffiecient key in should in time that unit second so what formula that should i calculate i key in?
Thank.

Ansys EmployeeFrom Aqwa theory manual,
, the unit of the damping coefficient can be determined
[N]=[beta] * [N/m] * [m/s], so that [beta] =[s]. Â
"Size" in Details of a fender is the uncompressed length of that fender along the fender normal direction. "Action" as Fender X-direction only means that the fender's normal direction is in the global x-direction at the definition position.
