      Dear Sir,

The development of sustainable and eco-friendly composite materials has become a crucial focus in materials science and engineering. Coconut coir, a natural fiber extracted from the outer shell of coconuts, has emerged as a promising reinforcement option owing to its abundant availability, renewable nature, and advantageous mechanical characteristics. One such application of coir-reinforced composites is in the field of thermal insulation, where the low thermal conductivity of coir can be leveraged to improve the insulating properties of the material.

In this study, we aim to investigate the thermal conductivity of coir fiber-reinforced latex composites using Finite Element Analysis simulations conducted in the ANSYS software.

In this research, we investigate the use of finite element analysis to simulate the thermal conductivity of coir fiber-reinforced latex composites.

The objective is to create the constituent materials in the ANSYS software and then model the composite material through simulation. Subsequently, the aim is to determine the thermal conductivity of the Unidirectional hexagonal representative volume element coir fiber-reinforced latex composite.

Please tell me how should i do this.

      Thank you very much

      Asanka

I suggest starting with the content (courses) in Learning followed by any/all tutorials in the Solver Help system.

@raft wars Open ANSYS Workbench → Select Steady-State Thermal or Transient Thermal Analysis. Go to Geometry and create a unidirectional hexagonal model: Use SpaceClaim or DesignModeler to create a material cell consisting of coir fibers and latex.
