I write a simple script to run the parameter sweeping in FDTD. But it will auto-abort after sweeping several numbers with a warning, saying it failed to save in the folder and says I do not have access to write in the folder (where I do have access). This only happens when I run the sweeping in my script. Other scripts and FDTD-based optimization runs normally.

Hi Zhongdi,
Would you be able to share a screenshpot of the log file? It should appear in the same directory where the simulation file is saved and has the name filename_p0.log. Thank you!Regards,
AmritaÂ

Hi Zhongdi,
Thanks for sharing the screenshots! The log doesn't seem to have any insights into the issue. I will recommend you to 1. reboot the computer, just to make sure there are no applications in the background taking up significant RAM 2. Delete the FDTD.ini preference file. This link will tell you how to do that. It restores all the defaults. 3. Rerun the simulation. Let me know if you still see the issue.
Regards,
Amrita
