I am modelling a turbine blade that has a constant rotational velocity and a cyclic pressure applied to it.
I want to calculate the life however I only need the cyclic loading applied to the pressure and not the rotational velocity. But when the fatigue tool is used, there doesn't seem to be a way to only apply cyclic loading to only one 'load'. Is there a way to selected which load it applies the cyclic loading to? Or is this not how ANSYS Mechanical works?
Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex,Â
I'm modelling something similar. Were you able to do it? If so, how did you define the fatigue tool?
Thanks,
Joan
