Ansys EmployeeHi,
You should be able to apply a Bearing Load on the inner surface of the cylinder if it is a solid body. Bearing Load cannot be applied if it is a shell.
Also, if the CAD system split the cylinder into two or more faces, you need to select all the faces when defining the Bearing Load.Â

Ansys EmployeeHi,
What you did seems right to me. Can you please try close and reopen Mechanical, and try to apply bearing load again?
Just for your reference, a detailed documentation about how to use bearing load can be found here:Â https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v201/en/wb_sim/ds_Bolt_Load.html?q=bearing%20load
Regards,
Wenlong
