      I recently downloaded [Ansys Electronics Desktop Student] and I tried to import the edb file,
      but the error happened with the message ("Database failed to open: xxx.edb") 
      Why is this happening?

      Hello Heewon,

      Ansys Electronics Desktop Student version supports importing DXF and STEP formats only.

        Hello Chinmay,

        As you mentioned, I tried again to import the DXF file (I don't need the step file), but error also happened again like the picture below.

        What would be this problem..?

      This error is coming because of the file issue.

      Please check that the file is correct or it is opening properly in other tools or not.
