SubscriberI'm struggling with a CEL analysis in order do simulate an underwater explosion on a boat (see the picture attached). I create the model in an explicit dynamic modulo of ANSYS and then impor it in Autodyn. After the analysis, I need to extract the displacements of the node of the boat (modelled with shell elements). I can't use probe because they are only for eulerian elements.
Is there the possibility to do that in order to apply it in another module of ANSYS?

Ansys EmployeeHi
If this is to be done properly in order to capture some of the complex physics involved, one could look at this for some inspiration.

There are many more online resources if you search online (say ls-dyna and undex, or underwater explosions).
All the best

SubscriberHi Erik, thank you very much for your quick reply! Using Autodyn seems to be the best way because first I need to propagate with 1D wedge the explosion and then do a remap on a 3D model on Autodyn. I can't perform a CEL like in the paper you mentioned because it's too time consuming.
Anyway, I'm gonna try to check other approaches online!
