SubscriberI'm currently working on a project where we require some high-quality footage of fluid dynamics for a large projection.
During our search for a good solution, we came across Ansys Discovery. The results in the simulation viewport are exactly the results we hope to achieve, and they far surpass any of the results we’ve been able to achieve in conventional 3D visualization software.
However, we haven’t found any way to export image sequences directly from Discovery, which would allow us to create high resolution video files for the projection.
We’ve tested some things using screen capture, but quickly realized that there’s an occasional stutter in the simulation, which doesn’t allow for a smooth video projection. My question would be if there’s already a way to export an image sequence or video directly from Discovery that I just haven’t found yet? And if not, are you aware of any other ways we could generate a high-quality video file from Discovery?
Thank you kindly for your help in advance!

Forum ModeratorHello Liam Carter
There is currently an option in Discovery to capture a scene as an image using Simulation tab> Results> Scene option.
But, unfortunately, there no option to capture a video or gif.
I can take this as feedback for the development team.

SubscriberSubashni individual images would actually be good, as long as it's possible to render a sequence for it. Would it be possible to have it render an image for a predetermined timestep (like every 0.05 seconds)? Or is it only able to render the current viewport image?
