SubscriberHi,
I've successfully modeled the BondingWire in HFSSDesign to extract the s-parameter and equivalent circuit of the BondingWire. Now, when I'm trying to export the equivalent circuit file (*.cir).But it's ending up with a warning and saving a file with SNB file extension. I'm expecting this file to be a file containing the netlist of the circuit equivalent. But this file is not supporting by cadence to save as circuit to use in my spectre simulation in cadence to simulate the effect of Bonding Wire, neither it's in the readable text format. I'm attaching a snippet of the warning. I'm using Anysys Electronic Desktop Student 2021R2 version. Looking forward to someone who can help me.
PS: However I've exported the matrix data in TouchStone format successfully and using matlab de-embedded the s-parameter. Now I've to use some other calculation to find out the equivalent passives of the BondingWire., If the equivalent circuit file can't be exported correctly.

Please restart your application and then try exporting the equivalent circuit.
All the very best.

SubscriberSorry, i've tried many times by closing all the application and then restarting the ANYSYS HFSS. It's not helping out anyway. Can you some suggest something else.

In have suggested you to restart the whole AEDT interface based on the warning of screenshot provided in this post.
If you are still getting the same warning then I would suggest you to restart your system.
Please provide screenshots if you are getting different warning.
All the very best.

SubscriberI have closed my all applications, restarted my system. And then only ran ANYSYS. But I'm still facing the same challenge. I'm not able to export the circuit equivalent of s-parameters. There is no load on my PC(look at the task manager) who's eating up all the memory. Snippet are attached for the same. PLease Help.

I need some more information to narrow down the possible options for this.
It looks like you are using AEDT student version. Can you confirm?
Are you able to do other tasks in AEDT like analyzing other simulations and they were working fine?
Please provide your response.
All the very best.

Thanks for your response.
Yeah I'm using the AEDT student version. I've already mentioned in my first post.
Yeah I'm able to do all the other tasks like analyzing sims in AEDT .

The student version does not support Circuit design type.
This can be one of the possible reasons.
If possible try using the normal version of AEDT to extract the equivalent circuit.
All the very best.
