Yes, just do File Save As and change the file type.

The image below is the SpaceClaim 2020 R1 and R2 Save as type list. It seems like ANSYS has removed the ability to Save As a long list of other types in 2021 R1. You can still download 2020 R2 version. Maybe you should consider installing the older version.
.Aniket kkanade Any comment on this change for SpaceClaim 2021 R1?

Ansys EmployeeArray why do you want to save as step?
You can directly connect SpaceClaim to downstream applications.

Suppose a student uses SpaceClaim to design a part and plans to make a physical prototype for testing to validate their FE model.
They need a neutral file to send to the machine shop since that downstream app doesn't read SpaceClaim files.

SubscriberThanks for the answers. I have now reconstructed the geometry in the licensed version.
Nevertheless, I agree with Array, step file should be available for all Ansys licenses.

Subscriber.Hi everyone,
I am having the same issue with the 2022 Ansys student version as I would like to export my file as an .stl file but it is not possible with the 2022 version.
I cannot seem to find the 2020 version on the ANSYS website. Would it be possible to guide me to the previous versions of ANSYS (2020 version if possible).
Thank you in advance

ANSYS Student 2020 is no longer available. You can't export your geometry from SpaceClaim (Student) as an STL file.
Move your .scdoc file to a computer with a full license of ANSYS 2022 and on that computer you can export an STL file.
