Ansys EmployeeDear Subscriber,
- Please ensure you can reproduce the export for the metalens example as outlined in the GDSII Export Automation article.
- Double-check the z-positioning of your layers. It seems none of them actually match your geometry.
Best regards,

SubscriberI currently have a very large structure that needs to be exported. Putting it all in one FDTD file would make it very laggy. Now, I want to split the structure into multiple FDTD files and then save them into the GDS file one by one. Each time I save, I need to open the GDS file and save it to a specific location. How should I proceed with this operation?

Ansys EmployeeDear Subscriber,
You should be able to export your geometries as separate files and later merge them using other software, such as KLayout.
Best regards,
KirillÂ
