Expanding modal Solution

      Hi

      I am running modal analysis in HPC and the analysis is running for the 4th day.

      It shows me Expanding modal solution (100%).

      I need to know this is an issue or it takes so much time.

      If there is solution for this. Please let me know.

      May be you can attach the solve.out file ( Solution > right mouse click> Open solver files directory). How big is the model (number of nodes)? How many modes are you extracting/expanding? Are you expanding all the results ( Analysis settings > Output controls)? It is possible time is being spent on combining the multiple rst files from distributed solver. 4 days is very unusual but perhaps you can reduce what is getting written to the results file.
