Could anyone support any technique of analyzing an exhaust stack to which a diesel engine exhaust enters at 522 deg C and 17 m/s. How can I obtain the temperature contour along the stack length? Knowing that the stack is exposed to free convection by ambient air at 22 deg C.

Below is an example that models the natural convection of a hot pipe. The difference is that the bottom of the pipe would have an inlet of gas at 522 C entering at 17 m/s.
