Hello all, I am trying to do CFD simulation of a Spray dryer chamber.
Its a multiphase flow simulation which contains hot air and liquid feed which needs to be evaporated inside the chamber with the help of hot air.
Liquid feed is to be modelled as dispersed phase and hot air will be continuous phase.
If anyone has done any evaporation related simulation in CFX or FLUENT please help me with the solver setup, like I am using k E turbulence model Eulerian- Lagrangian Model for dispersed phase.
Kindly provide your expert support to me for this simulation. -

Hello,
This tutorial in the Ansys Fluent's Tutorial Guide can be a good starting point for you: Chapter 20: Modeling Evaporating Liquid Spray (ansys.com)However, I think you can ignore the multi-specie modeling part in this tutorial.
If you are not able to access the link, please check this forum discussion: How to access the ANSYS Online Help
Thanks,Nikhil
