SubscriberDear all,
I am very new to ANSYS Fluent and am using the program to model the evaporation and combustion of a methane droplet within flowing air within a 2D space using the VOF Model. I am in the process of trying to figure out my source terms for this problem. Are there standard source terms for Energy and species transport? and once these have been found, does Fluent have a database of UDFs that can be customized with new variables, or will i have to write a new code for my source terms.

Ansys EmployeeYes you might find all relevant UDFs with different examples in the Customization Manual. You probably need a mass transfer from liquid methane to gaseous methane in the air/methane mixture + combustion.
