SubscriberHello
I am trying to perform a circuit simulation using an imported sNp file. The sNp file is for a 16 port coil and it contains the S-parameters at multiple frequencies. I am able to successfully import the sNp file an setup my circuit. I get the following error when trying to to run a Linear Frequency Analysis: Error parsing Touchstone file/bad number of ports or version specifier. I am running this in Electronics Desktop 2020 R2.

Ansys Employee, nplease confirm that you following the correct procedure to import .sNp file.nIn the circuit model, you can add an 'N-port' device and link it to this sNp file containing your device's S-Parameters.nYou can refer this post for importing the sNp file.n/forum/discussion/12230/touchstone-file-import nI hope this will help.nRegards,nViveknViewing 1 reply thread- The topic ‘Error with 16 port sNp file: Error parsing Touchstone file/bad number of ports or version specifier’ is closed to new replies.
