SubscriberI am trying to mesh a very thin surface and I am unable to create a mid surface in Design Modeler as every time I try to select the pair of faces to create a mid surface I am getting the following error " Warning: Face pair outside Selection Tolerance.Suggest: 6.25 e-08m". And I am unable to select the pair of surfaces. Can anybody help me out with this error message, as to what might be the reason and how to rectify it?

SubscriberIs there any way to solve this in design modeller itself, as I am much more used to design modeller, the thickness of the smallest body is 5 e-06m. Could you tell me why I am getting such an error?

SubscriberIf the body is so thin, do you even need a midsuface? What if you create surface bodies from the faces on one side of the solid then delete the solid.

SubscriberI am actually working on a project where I have to mesh a very thin layer on a circuit board, what do you think is the best method for such meshing. I am getting some failed mesh upon simply using the general way
Is there any specific tutorial or technique for meshing such parts, I would very much like to know about such methods.

These are a part of the geometry where I am getting the error, I am getting the failed mesh in mid-layer shown in image above, I have also hidden the top two layer in next image to get a better understanding.Â
I am also getting an error message in meshing the mid-layer as follows
ERROR: The meshing has completed, but some elements are not compliant with the applied shape checking criteria.
Warning: The MultiZone meshing has completed, but some bad surface elements were created.
Could you please tell me why I am getting such messages and the reason for failed mesh and how to rectify it
Thanks in advance
