      Hi,

I downloaded the ansys student package in its 23 R2 version and I am getting this error message when trying to open the Worbench app. Does anybody know how to solve it so that I can use the software?

      Thank you in advance

I believe this looks like there is a font issue.
      Can you check the following:
First, ensure that Tahoma font is installed on your machine.

Also, try running when the language is set to English

What do you mean with "on your machine" ? I do have Tahoma font in Word.

Could you be more especific on the steps to follow ?

      Regards

Can you translate the first line into english

What operating system are you using.
A way to see your installed fonts is through Control Panel. In Windows 10, go to Control Panel > Fonts.

"On your machine" refers to the machine where you are trying to run and receivng the error.

      You can also try:
Open Windows file explorer and go to:
      %APPDATA%|Ansys
You will see a directory v232 or a number that corresponds to the version you are running.
      Rename that directory to v232.old
      Try to run again.

First line says: font "tahoma" is not compatible with the style "regular". And I do have Tahoma installed in my computer, I can use it in Office Word.

My computer is running Windows 10 Home 22H2.

Are you running locally or are you running through a terminal window on another machine and displaying on your Windows machine?

I am running locally in a Windows 10 Home 22H2 laptop.
