Some reset/cleanup steps that may help--

      1. Confirm ANSYS supported graphics card and latest driver is installed. Also request the system administrator to check if hardware acceleration is enabled for your sessions to this machine

      2. Reset the ANSYS profile and run Product Config

      a) Rename v221 from %APPDATA%\ansys\v221 to v221.old (where %APPDATA% is where your APPDATA variable is set to - 'Just type %APPDATA% in the Explorer Address bar' and it will take you there).

      b) Rename .ansys from %TEMP% to old.ansys (same as above, just type: %TEMP% in the address bar)

      c) Request the system administrator to right mouse button click and run as administrator the ProductConfig.exe from C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\v221\ and configure the application again,
select the 'Configure Products' selecting all options and make sure you also click on 'Install Required Prerequisites'.

      d) Manually register the DLLs listed below by starting a Command Prompt (DOS) 'as administrator' and changing to the directory c:\windows\system32, then typing:

      regsvr32.exe ole32.dll

      regsvr32.exe atl.dll

      regsvr32.exe oleaut32.dll

      regsvr32.exe scrrun.dll

      regsvr32.exe jscript.dll

      regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll

      3. Also request the system administrator to check the path environment variable on the system to ensure that the 3-4 entries starting with %systemroot% precede all other entries

      I hope this helps
