Hi,
i want to evaluate the velocity variation inside a heat exchanger with a simple 2D model, but while while meshing i get this error: The Quad Mesher failed on one or more faces. I can't figure it out what it exactly means, but I have read some edge size applications to solve it. It didn't work for me. This is half model:

October 28, 2021 at 4:17 pmelisioSubscriberi have created really small elements and it still wasn't possible. So a simple change to tetrahedral solved it.
Thanks Rob.

In CFD terms I'd tend to expand the contact region a little bit to remove the tangential intercept: I'm a little surprised the CAD worked too as that's a "non manifold body" and tends to cause problems.
