SubscriberHi all,
I am modeling a copper soil using ansys Maxwell. I want to apply a current in term of frequency to the pad and find the inductance, but I have this error "mfsolver fails. The most likely reason is that the system matrix is badly conditioned.. 1%".
Thank you for your help.

Ansys EmployeeCan you please check to see if the conductivity of the object is defined properly?
Also, ensure that your excitation defined on the coil in Maxwell is setup in one of two ways:
1. The coil terminals extend to the solution region, where the excitations are assigned on the start and end of the conductor.
2. The coil terminals form a closed loop, where the excitation is assigned to a cross section.

SubscriberThank you very much mark for your help.
Now I have another error "setup error, possible reasons are 1) The solved region is not singly connected. If any circle in the solved region can not be freely shrunk to a point, then solved region is not regarded as singly connected. 2) The master and slave boundaries are separated. For this case, “Zero Tangential H Field boundary condition need to be assigned on one boundary connecting master and slave boundaries".
I have as model a cercular coil with two conduction pads, near to a metalic target.
