Error: Surface Creation Failed

  Hello,
  
  I want to create a line in Fluent so that I can get my results in that particular line. While doing that, I get an error saying that:
  
  Error: Surface creation failed !
  
  Error object: #f
  
  Can someone help me on how to resolve this ?
  
  P.S: The end points of my line is within the flow domain and it is a 2D model. Interestingly, when I created a line with the default values in the dialog box, the line was created.

  I had the same problem. This is a bug in the software.I put the scale on the centimeter.
  
  Then I wanted to draw a circle that gave the following message:
  
  Error: Surface creation failed!
  
  Error Object: #f
  
  The parts I outlined in the photo are in meters.You should to type in centimeters.

  Fluent always works in SI units and converts internally from any other units you set. I suspect the Quadratic surface panel hasn't been checked as it's rarely used: I'll flag to the GUI team to check.
