SubscriberI was trying to do harmonic analysis on a model. basically, I was trying for rotor dynamics analysis. Modal analysis worked fine but Harmonic analysis gives an error.
Error is as followed:
'Gyroscopic matrix has been activated (RefFrame = ON on the CORIOLIS command) for rotating structure dynamics. When rotor spin is input through the CMOMEGA command, the element axis must be along the spin axis of the element component' Â
Attaching an archive. Please have a look at the model.
If anyone could help regarding this?
Thanks

SubscriberHello All
I have encountered the same problem, but in the modal analysis. did you find the answer? O anyone can help?
Thanks

SubscriberHi Deepesh,
Your model has a beam element(s) that are not along the axis of rotation. This is a limitation of line elements. If you are trying to model something off-axis, you will need to do so with shell or solid elements.
