I saved a case file and a case and data file from fluent. But I am not able to open both the files. I am getting an error.

      Please help.

Open fluent and read the case file. Does any error occur?

Now I am getting this error.

And two other errors, like .dat missing.

So reading the case alone is not possible:care corrupt! Start from scratch.

      Hello,

So after saving the data and case if we get this error it means that we can't use the results again to continue the simulation ?

I'm a bit confused about it because there was no error while saving the .dat and .cas.

Moreover I didn't change the name of the file or any folder in the path.

Is there a solution to this problem or do we have to restart everything from the beginning ?

To be more precise, the error occurred when i'm reading a file saved by the autosave feature.

For exemple duct_flow.cas is read without any problem but duct_flow-00110.cas has the following error :

      - error at host build grid aborted due to critical error

      - error at node 0 build grid aborted due to critical error

      - error at node 1 build grid aborted due to critical error

      and then in red :

      - error build grid aborted due to critical error

      - error object #f

      - error access unbound variable

      - error object get-var

I hope it will help to find a solution.

      Thanks for your help

      Hello,

While saving the file, are you doing File --> Write--> case and data?

      Hello,

Yes, I set autosave to save the .dat and .cas each 10 iterations.

But I can't read any file that was saved like this.

      Regards, Erwan
