SubscriberHello,
I used ANSYS mesher to create a structured mesh for a building inside a domain. To do that I had to slice the surfaces and then combine all the parts as a single part, then mesh it as multizone. Here it is:
The meshed domain worked fine in FLUENT; however, when I tried to import it to CFX (and yes I changed the preference to CFX before doing that) it gave me the following error and failed to import the meshed domain:
Application Error in CFX-Pre: ERROR
Attempt to create an interface map between non-matching face meshes:
Vertices Faces Face mesh Region [Base name]
 Side 0:        81        64 H9f+L+kRiOX0qEWKpG5nFA F3091.2660
                                                      [F3091.2660]
 Side 1:        88        70 VDkBMOkRiOX0qJuLpG5nFA F3091.2678
                                                      [F3091.2678]
Unable to import the requested mesh:
Type            = "GTM_PARTIAL_DSDB".
File            = "E:Model 2_grid snsmodel2_filesdp0SYSMECHSYS1.cmdb".
Generic options = " -model 0".
Specific options = "-contact read -names 'CFXMesh ACMO_Simulation'".
Thank you for your support
