error in CFX

      Hello,

I tried to create a chart and got the following error.

I will point out that I have managed to produce a chart, in the same way, two weeks ago.

I will be happy to solve the mistake.

      Best Regards,

      Tubiy

Are you reading a State file? Is it the same result file as two-weeks ago? Can you post the chart definition? Any other information is welcome here.

      Hi Amine,

      I've taken the following steps:

      1. Update the results (Figure 1)

      2. I entered the results.

      3. I created a chart (Figure 2).

It happens to me specifically for this simulation.

      Another simulation is fine.

Two weeks ago it also worked for this simulation, and the only thing I did now was a calculation update.

Check if you have valid transient data under time step selector. Launch Post outside of the WB for further debugging.

"Check if you have valid transient data under time step selector" - where?? I would be glad if you could elaborate more.

I can say I can create a contour for the last time steps.

Furthermore, I returned the simulation to the time I took out the previous chart and it still gives me the same error.

Try access the time steps in the time step selector (if one with clock). You might even connect to a new Result component to start with clean state.

I can get results as the temperature contour at the recent time steps as I mentioned.

The problem is only in the chart no matter whether it is a surface or a point depending on the time, it simply shows an error.

Can you just use transient sequence for a variable at a point?

That's really what I tried to check, and also a transient sequence at a point it gave me the same error.

      Best regards,

Have you tested with CFD Post outside the workbench. Here pay attention to what is printed in the command prompt of Post.

I tried, and I get a message almost identical.

If you are at research institute please get in touch with ASC who can then try to highlight that for his local support. Without having access to the data it is hard to provide any further help here. As ANSYS Stuff I cannot exchange data on this open community. You might though upload your data perhaps some other community members help you further.
