Hi everyone
I am working with CFD simulations, I try to simulate a half wing.Â
My simulation starts running even showing the residual, at about iteration 100-200, the simulation stops abruptly and closes the fluent window, displaying only the following message: "Error: Error handling fluent message."
What can I do to make my simulation works correctly?
Some parameters that are part of my mesh and fluids are described below.
Â
- Turbulence model k-w, SST.
- Control volume measurements: 64.5m*10.75m*21.5.
- Mesh: skewness = 0.89, tethahedroms, y+ = 0.09191 first layer.
- Atmospheric parameters with respect to an altitude of 2400 m.

What is orthogonal quality? In Fluent check the quality.Â
The min orthogonal quality should be above 0.1 to proceed to solver. If it is less than 0.1 then please improve the mesh.ÂÂIf mesh orthogonal quality is bad, it might have given bad residuals within 100 -200 iterations. I assume you are running steady state. Please check.Â-

Hi Keyur.
Yes, it is steady state. I think that your comment is the solution because my orthogonal quality value is lower than 0.1. I will improve my mesh and wait for good results. At first, I even thought that equations of first and second degree that I introduced to make faster the simulation they were responsible for the mistake. Thank you for your support.
