Error: Could not connect to Ansys license server specified at 1055@localhost Wou

      Today, I'm encountering an issue where I can't reopen my Lumerical FDTD file. I tried multiple solutions, but none of them worked. Interestingly, I was able to open it successfully last night, so I'm not sure why it's failing now.

      I've attached a screenshot of the error for your reference. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

      Hi Peng, 

      1. Try to reboot your computer. 
      2. Wait for a few minutes and check if the license manager is up and running (KB).
      3. Then navigate to "Display FlexNet license status" page (KB) if this shows all the licenses available for checkout. 
      4. Then configure Lumerical to obtain the license from the machine the Ansys license manager - see this (KB) for details.
