SubscriberHi all,
Made a new INTERCONNECT file, right clicked the Custom folder, hit Package/Publish, get an error message: "Error: can not package/publish the selected node." Any hints on how to debug this?
As a side note that might be related, I cannot open the CML Compiler tool. When I click it, it creates a window that is blank and whose window doesn't show up.
Thanks,
Peter

Hello,
Thank you for shairing more information.
Can you try crating a new folder inside custom folder. Save the new element you created inside that folder. Then try to publish it.Â
So you have right click on the new folder -> select package or publish.
Please let me know if that solve the issue.
Thanks and regards
Devika

SubscriberHi Devika,
Thanks that worked. Does that mean that right clicking on Custom itself is not supposed to work? Should this text:
"To package/publish a compact model library, users can simply right click on the "Custom" folder in the Element Library (or a subfolder within) and select "Package/Publish" option"
be updated to:
"To package/publish a compact model library, users can simply right click on a subfolder in the "Custom" folder in the Element Library and select "Package/Publish" option"
in:

Thanks,

Ansys EmployeeHello Peter,Â
Yes, you're correct. Only subfolders within the Custom folder can be published.
Thanks for pointing that out in the manual page. The page has been updated.
I am closing this post.
