There's this problem in version 2025R2.
When I save a STEP file with the sheet metal file inside (see video), it also saves the development.
This didn't happen in version 2024 and earlier. Is it possible to implement the same behavior as in version 2024 for versions after version 2025?
This is because it's very inconvenient, and it always saves the empty component (this also needs to be fixed).

For all sheet metal users, this is a big problem, as importing the STEP file results in two overlapping solids: the bent one and the unfolded one. For CAM bending programs, we need a STEP file that contains only the geometry of the bent part, otherwise the program cannot import the file.

Sorry but this way it becomes very difficult sometimes to share problems.

The problem is that you find yourself with the folded sheet metal and the unfolded one together, and also with an always empty and useless component.
