  Are you using the free Student Software or are you using the commercial version pointed to a license server?
  If you scroll down, what is the rest of the error message?
  Can you post a screen shot of what clicking on "Diagnose" shows?

  I would recommend uninstalling.
  Then, reinstall making sure virus protection is turned off.
  Re-download the Student Program.
  Unzip to temporary directory
  right-click on setup and choose "run as administrator"

  Hello dear sir, I want to install the free software. When I install and open the program, I encounter the following error.

  Try uninstalling and then rename the c:\Program files\Ansys Inc directory to:
  Ansys_Inc.Old
  Then reinstall.
