While solving an FE model I am getting the following error in Ansys.

      Please provide a solution.

There is not enough space on the disk.

Delete files on the disk until there is at least 100 GB of free disk space or install a larger storage drive.

I am getting an unknown error during the solution. I have checked the solver output but unable to find the problem. Please help in identifying the error.

The archive file of my model is given below.

I ran your model using ANSYS 19.2 and it ran without any problem.

I would guess the solver stops running due to a problem with your computer.

Have you tried running this model immediately after restarting the computer?

How many cores is on that CPU, is it 6?  Have you tried using 6 cores Distributed?

I also have Ansys 19.2. I have tried running this model immediately after restarting the computer using six core.

After running for 2 hours, it suddenly stops giving an unknown error.

The link for the archive file is given below.

Why did you Manually specify Mechanical APDL solver memory settings?

Here is a discussion with a student who had no idea what those settings do and his manual settings were the cause of his problem.

What happens if you uncheck that?

I have also tried without manually specifying the mechanical APDL solver setting. In my present model, I have not specified those settings.

But still, I am getting those errors.

      Please see my model.

I can see what your computer did, it got to iteration 24 and the solver stopped for an unknown reason.

I opened the last model you provided. I forced it to run outofcore on 6 cores. It runs fine without stopping.

There is nothing wrong with the model. There is something wrong with your computer.

You can try uninstalling ANSYS and completely remove all traces of ANSYS before reinstalling.
