I often encounter with the below-mentioned error in fluent it is either out of memory or not enough space :
I am trying to solve the same case file that I solved previously in the same system, but previously, I did not face any such error, and now I encounter this error again and again. Can anyone please help to rectify this error?

Can you check disk space along with available RAM. It's also a connection timed out, where are you running the model (network, local?) and where are files stored?

Disk space is 700GB free and RAM is 32GB, number or mesh elements is 10 million, I am running the model on local desktop system and storing the files in same desktop, but license is an institute license (so the license is on network). Previously this same case used to run but now it shows these connection time out errors.

OK, you may have lost the connection to the campus licence. But, with 10M cells you're fairly close to filling the 32GB RAM, so if you're running any other software (email, Office, YouTube etc) you may be just running out. That could then trip the LM as it's usually the first thing to not like having no RAM.

Ok, But I have run this same case with 10 million elements previously in the same system without any error. Is there any way to resolve this error.

How much RAM are you using? What else has changed on the hardware? Ie OS updates, firewall settings etc.

Using 32GB RAM same system, 16 cores, Nothing change on hardware may be there were few minor updates on OS but no major update, No firewall setings has been changed

No, how much RAM are you using, not how much RAM is there.

I am not giving any specific number to use RAM, fluent will be using all available RAM by default. May be 23 24GB will be available in system. Which fluent is using

Fluent will use what it needs, so if there isn't enough it'll try and page to disk. Similarly, if there is more than enough RAM Fluent won't use all of it.
