Dear Community, Greetings
I have been working on Steam Methane Reforming Reactions using Nickel as the Catalyst.Â
I am trying to develop a reaction between methane and steam to generate hydrogen and carbon dioxide using Nickel-based materials as the Catalyst.Â
The surface reaction and gas phase reaction chemkin files successfully gets imported to the fluent but, when I try to run the simulation, I am encountering the error.ÂThe error is like this:Â
Error: Create_Reaction_Mech: unknown reaction reaction-1\n
Error Object: #f
Â
Similarly, I am getting errors in Ansys chemkin also. I have attached the image for the reference.
I am looking for expert suggestions on this issue.

Hi,Â
Â
The error message you're encountering, suggests that there may be an issue with how the reaction is defined or called. I would recommend correcting your reaction mechanism before proceeding.
