Encountering Error in Heterogeneous Surface Reaction

      Dear Community, Greetings

I have been working on Steam Methane Reforming Reactions using Nickel as the Catalyst.

I am trying to develop a reaction between methane and steam to generate hydrogen and carbon dioxide using Nickel-based materials as the Catalyst.

The surface reaction and gas phase reaction chemkin files successfully gets imported to the fluent but, when I try to run the simulation, I am encountering the error.

      The error is like this:

      Error: Create_Reaction_Mech: unknown reaction reaction-1\n

      Error Object: #f

Similarly, I am getting errors in Ansys chemkin also. I have attached the image for the reference.

I am looking for expert suggestions on this issue.

      Hi,

The error message you're encountering,  suggests that there may be an issue with how the reaction is defined or called. I would recommend correcting your reaction mechanism before proceeding.
