Shared topology does not seem to recognize shared faces in multi-component assemblies, only multi-body components. Is there an easy way to move all of the bodies of a multi-component assembly into a single component so shared topology works? It's easy to drag and drop a couple of bodies to combine them, but I have hundreds of components that need to be combined.
I'm also open to other solutions.
