SubscriberHello everyone. I am performing a coupled-field transient structural-thermal analysis. The results of my transient simulation is correct. What I want to do is using the temperature distribution results for a static analysis. The idea is to map the temperature distribution to all nodes of the mesh and compute the static results. Moreover, I wanto to use only the "equivalent" structural element to the coupled-field element. I mantain the same mesh using the EMODIF command, so I migrated from a coupled-filed element to a purely structural element equivalent, for example plane223 -->plane186 elements. The problem is that in this way, the time necessary to the solution is very long an unsymmetric matrices are produced even if I think I am eleiminating the thermal "DOF".
My static results are correct but I would to speed up the simulation.
Thank you for the help!

You can export the temperature data and read the same for Solid elements. By the way, why are you not using the Mechanical for Coupled Structural Thermal analysis?
