Ansys EmployeeHi,
Â
You can refer to the following user manual page to learn how to model electrolysis in Fluent.28.2. Using the Fuel Cell and Electrolysis Model (ansys.com)
Chapter 21: Modeling Fuel Cells (ansys.com)

SubscriberHi,
I appreciate your previous response, I was able to simulate the electrolyzer using the document, and now I'm wondering if it's possible to change the species in the model from hydrogen and oxygen to a carbon dioxide model.

SubscriberHi Harish,
I am new to electrolyzer modelling in fluent. I need to model an alkaline electrolyzer. Can you share the resources you used? Does the oxygen evolve at the cathode in the fluent model? Any guidance will be much appreciated.Â
ThanksÂ
Amit
