Hello Everyone,
I need to analyze the influence of cracks on the buckling behavior of the bamboo model. For that, I generated a Semi-elliptical crack and simulated total deformation in the presence of that crack. But as I tried to solve the model on Eigenvalue buckling, an error occurred that stated it was not possible to do the analysis with the fracture folder. Could anyone please help me through this?
Best Regards,

Hi,
Thank you for suggesting it. Is it possible to create a slot through Space claim?

Hi
yes. I mean “slot” is just a void/cut in the gemoetry like, so you can just skecth that rectangular cut/slot and use the Pull tool, to “pull” it into the part but using the Cut option in order to take away the material and so to generate a void/slot. See the help manual and perhaps the internet (see a link below for a tutorial) for more info on the Pull tool in SpaceClaim.

Hope this is clear
