Editing of HFSS models

I have been working with HFSS projects for a long time. Recently I had to transition to AEDT and facing several problems as under -

      1. Once I create a model, I can not edit it. It does not give me any window to change origin, x size, y size or radius

      2. Once a model is created, it does not allow me assign a material for the object.

I have attached a project. Can you please show me how to put the center of the sphere at the point (0 mm,0 mm,0 mm) and radius 0.475 mm and assign it as gold metal?

Looking forward to having your reply.

I wanted to attach the project but it says that file extension is not allowed.

It sounds like you're used to seeing the properties of geometries you draw in the Modeler show up as a pop-up window to edit things like location, size and materials. This can be set to happen in Electronics Desktop as well. Tools>>Options>>General Options, Click the "3D Modeler" option on the left hand side and then enable "Edit properties of new primitives."

With or without this setting, you have the option of editing things like location, size and materials of any object after you've drawn it in the Modeler window. When you click on the object in the History tree, the properties of that object will be visible in the Properties window for editing. Or (again in the History tree) if you double click on the object or the create geometry command in the history of that object, the Property window will appear as a pop-up and you can edit there as well.

      Hope this helps!

      Hello Ms. Slouie,

Thank you reply. After enabling "Edit properties of new primitives." , I could not see pop-up window to edit things like location, size and materials.

Then I tried the second method (from History Tree) as you mentioned in second paragraph, it did not work too.

Finally, third method worked as you said  "(again in the History tree) if you double click on the object or the create geometry command in the history of that object, the Property window will appear as a pop-up and you can edit there as well."

In previous version, it was so user friendly. But anyway, it worked that's all I wanted.

Thank you so  very much for your help.

      Arun
