Goodmorning, so after designing, meshing and going through Fluent for convergence, I went to try optimization. Basically, the 3D system designed consists of one main pipe, and a small side pipe some hot water to the bigger pipe containing cooler water. The optimisation is required to find the best and most suitable position of the small side pipe, for best mixing of water. However, when conducting optimisation, an error pops up saying that it was unable to move the geometry. So I checked the geometry, and was able to move the part. However, when I went to meshing, I found that all the edge sizing was lost, yet methods were still retained. What could be the cause of such issue and how can it be resolved?

Hello,Â
does any of the part movements result in topological changes in your model?
