Hello Everyone
I am trying to preload (do gravity analysis) my LS-DYNA model and afterwards I want to apply transient analysis to it. I am trying to do my gravity analysis based on dynamic relaxation and I was able to verify it for a very simple model. But my question is that is there a way to change the boundary conditions of the model after finishing the dynamic relaxation phase and continue the transient analysis with the new BCs?Â

Hello,Â
The simulation can be restarted a simulation after DR phase using the d3dump written at the conclusion of the DR phase. At the restart the boundary curve could be change.Â
Please look at this tutorial about restart using LS-DYNA: https://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/jday/restart.pdf
See the *RESTART section in the User’s Manual for the keyword commands permitted in a small restart input deck
Thank you,
Alex.Â
