      Hi,

      I´m trying to do this tutorial:

      . Howewer I want to use a Profile instead of a UDF.

      I have made the geometry and the meshing successfully.

      Boundary Conditions: - Inlet: 0 Pa (Type Pressure)

                                         - Piston (Type Wall) and Settings by Default

      Below you can see the Profile file. ".." is used in order to not writing all the components.

      ((piston1 transient 101 0)
      (time
      0
      0,02
      0,04
      0,08 ..
      1,98
      2
      )
      (u
      0
      0,050636564
      0,046777181
      -0,004418245
      -0,042826439..
      0,008827861
      0,058051301

      ))

      The problem is that my velocity in all directions is 0.

      Thank you.

      Please check if you are running the case transient. Moreover check chapter 10.6.9.8. Solid-Body Kinematics to have the right format and specifications for your profile. Afterwards save case file and preview the mesh motion for verification purposes (Please save case file before doing that). For the profile use the specifications mentioned in the documentation (naming is important v_x, v_y, v_z,...).
