SubscriberHi
I am working on hydraulic turbine which is inclined at angle, i have to identified torque generated from turbine, from mass flow rate. When i am using dynamic mesh six DOF, i am getting error in define UDF. It not accepting actual mass of turbine in 6DOF dialog. please suggest necessary details required to run simulation

Ansys EmployeeHello Shi,
you might not need a UDF to run your 6DOF. You can set the turbine properties in Dynamic Mesh > Options > Settings > Six DOF.
If you still want to use your UDF, you will need to show the code on the Forum so that we can determine if there's anything wrong.

Subscriberhank you so much for your prompt response
When i am giving input as turbine property, i cant able to give value to mass, after assigning value and then recheck property of turbine is coming zero.
Can you please tell me about which axis moment of interia value i have to give, and as my geometry are inclined i have axis value and one coordinate of axis as a origin.
Please check all screenshot and suggest necessary action in order to run simulation correctly

SubscriberHello
Is this above dynamic mesh setting correct for my question. After complete run theta value in turbine wall dynamic mesh region coming very large, ideally it should be same as 22 degree at which it is inclined. why such behaviour. Please suggest me necessary action.
