SubscriberDear Concern, i wanted to draw a U shape in HFSS, AT FIRST, I did draw 3 poly line and by selecting two vertex and did use fillet, but i wanted to give this shape like 3 d shape. I am wondering if anyone could tell me the step to do that. Thank you.

SubscriberDear sir, i know this things, but it does not work when i do fillet, let me tell you what i did.
I did draw 3 polyline first.
Â
Now, Right click>>Selection mode>>vertex
And select 2 vertex, Then use Fillet.
Â
Now, after Fillet, if i wanted to change the "cross section type", it does not give me the 3 D shape. Please answer me here. Thank you

Ansys EmployeePlease try changing cross section and then adding chamfer or fillet. You may not even need to do this as you have the option for "Bend Type" = Rounded once you've added cross section type to the polyline.Â

SubscriberYes, I also did that using "Bend Type" = Rounded, but this does allow me to get exact curve i am trying, because we can not vary it. Could you check please. thank youÂ

Ansys EmployeeIf you need to parameterize the bend, rather than using rounded bend type, then please try fillet operation after adding cross section.Â
