Hi,Â
I am Ashen and I doing a CFD modelling of a shell and tube heat exchanger in FLUENT. The solution appears to be converging in terms of the residuals but the reverse flow warning seems to be appearing. Should I be concerned about this or is there a solution to this problem and causes as I am relatively new to using Fluent. I have attached images.Â

Reverse flow means you have material entering the domain at an outlet, or leaving at an inlet. Strictly speaking it's not a problem, but if you don't know what it's happening, or you have incorrect boundary values set it can influence the result to give a physically incorrect result: Fluent may converge as the solution is correct for the values set.Â
What does the post processing tell you about the flow field?
