SubscriberHello. I have a question. Is it possible to model the dissolution of a salt crystal using Fluent? I want the walls of my model to be covered with salt crystals. When high humidity air flows, I want the crystal to absorb water from the air and dissolve, changing its mass.
Regards, Dominik

Forum ModeratorYes. However, unless you are going to code up moving mesh on the walls to mimic the mass loss you may not see what you want. Starting point for the above might be surface reactions or Eulerian Wall Film. Note, neither approach is simple and may require User Defined Functions to be written.Â
