SubscriberHi all,
I am trying to display a contour result that are in a certain temperature range (for example, a range between 100 and 300 C) in my Fluent model. I know that I can set the range by using the "Clip to Range" option in the Contour box.
When I used it, the surfaces out of the set range were removed, but it showed an empty area behind the removed surfaces, not the filled area. I thought it would remove the elements that are out of the range and reveal new elements behind the removed ones. But the way it worked was just removing the outer surface.
Is it doable in Fluent?

SubscriberThis is the screenshot. The original temperature range was 297~400 C, but I reduced it to 297~360 C. You can see that the hot area has been removed and it shows the empty space behind the surface. Can I see a filled contour that contains elements or nodes that fit the set temperature range?
Best, Yije

Ansys EmployeeIt shows the other same contours but on the other faces /surfaces. I guess your boundary is made of several surfaces or you are showing the plot on several boundaries. The "clip to range" is actually what you require here. Double check please with CFD-Post.
