SubscriberHello,Â
I am simulating my capacitor model. generally, my structure is comprised of two conductor plate and in the middle there is a thin layer of dielectric(10 nm). The software identify my nets syccessfully without any error, however, we I run the analyze, it got the error different nets are touching. Is there anyone know how to slove this problem?

SubscriberHello:
basically, my structure is used for capacitor design. Which are two concentric cylider(radius = 6um, height 60 um) served as two metal plate. In the middle there is a thin layer of dielectric which is 10 nm.Â

Bbp_moderatorHi Yushu,
Thank you for sharing the additional details. Based on your model and the error, it looks like the setup is not correct. The signal nets should be isolated from each other without any electrical contact. That is why the error is triggered. Kindly ensure that they are not connected.
If you are new to Q3D design, then please go through this free video course - Intro to Ansys Q3D.
Best regards,
Praneeth.Â
